Boomer Sooner & Golden Hour Glow: Aubrey’s Memorable Fall Session!
Get ready to meet a senior who is truly ahead of the curve! Today I am so excited to share the magic from Aubrey’s senior session. Aubrey is a superstar from Copperas Cove High School, and she is actually graduating early! She has worked so hard to get to this moment, and her drive is just incredible.
Aubrey describes herself as independent, empathetic, and authentic. Her best friend says she is the one who “hypes everyone up” and “turns every moment into a story”. After spending an evening with her, I can totally see why—she is pure joy and so down-to-earth!
Fall Vibes and a “Dumpster Fire” to Remember!
For her session, we headed to Commons Ford Ranch in Austin, Texas, to capture those perfect golden hour fall vibes she was dreaming of. Aubrey wanted her photos to feel real, confident, fun, and totally me,” and the ranch provided the most beautiful, natural backdrop for her to shine.
We had a blast incorporating her passions into the shoot. We also celebrated her huge news—she’s already committed to the University of Oklahoma! We did some epic announcement photos featuring the coolest OU-styled cowboy boots. Boomer Sooner!
One thing we will never forget about this session? While we were busy capturing these gorgeous moments, we witnessed an actual dumpster fire nearby! Luckily, it was contained very quickly, but it definitely made for a session we will be talking about for years. Talk about turning a moment into a story!
More Than Just Photos: Aubrey’s Story
Aubrey is a girl who knows what she wants. When she isn’t busy with dance or working, she loves going to the gym and, of course, taking pictures! Her everyday style is comfortable, confident, and effortless (usually sweatpants and a crop top!), and she’s a fan of artists like Mariah the Scientist, Drake, and SZA.
Looking ahead, Aubrey is headed to OU to major in marketing. Her dream is to work in social media marketing, creating content that actually connects with people in a real way. With her creativity and “keep it real” attitude, I know she is going to be a powerhouse in the industry!
Keepsakes for a Lifetime
Aubrey chose some of my very favorite ways to preserve these memories. She walked away with a beautiful heirloom album, which is exactly the product we are known for! We also created a stunning framed storyboard—a collage of her favorite images—as a special gift for her grandmother. There is truly nothing like seeing these moments come to life in print.
Aubrey, thank you for trusting me to capture this huge milestone before you start your next chapter. You have been through so much to get here, and seeing your authentic self shine through these photos was such an honor.
