Get ready to meet a senior who is basically a walking ray of sunshine! Today I’m sharing all the magic from Brooklynn’s senior session. Brooklynn is a senior at Cedar Park High School, and let me tell you, she is a total vibe! This creative, spontaneous, and spunky girl had an incredible vision and we had the best time exploring Austin together.

She told me her best friend would describe her as “the life of the party” and “dramatic in every situation,” and honestly? That energy made every single photo pop!

Brooklynn had a very specific vision for her dream shoot. She wanted that “heavy greenery with warm sunlight” but also a mix of creative, urban shots. We started the day at South Congress, which was the perfect playground for her “Fancy Nancy” inspired style!

Brooklynn loves shopping at Edikted, Missguided, and Cider, and her outfits were 10/10. Whether she was strutting down the street or laughing near the iconic Austin murals, she looked like she stepped right off a Pinterest board.

Then, we headed over to Barton Springs to get that nature fix she was dreaming of. Since Brooklynn is a fellow photographer (she loves painting and music, too!), she wanted some really artistic shots.

What I love most about Brooklynn is her heart. While she’s “super outgoing” and loves “packing her weekly schedule with all the fun things,” her passions go deep. She loves Jesus, music, and visiting new places.

We talked a lot about her favorite tunes—she’s currently obsessed with Khamari, Mariah the Scientist, and the Marias. If you need a new playlist, Brooklynn is your girl! She said listening to and sharing new music with friends is one of the simple things that makes her truly happy.

Looking ahead, Brooklynn has such an inspiring path. She’s planning on a gap year to focus on mission work before heading to college the following fall. Her theme song for the year? “Good Old Days” by Macklemore. It’s so fitting because she is truly soaking up every bit of turning 18 and making memories before graduation!

Brooklynn, thank you for being so uniquely you during our session. From your love of Almond Joys and Mike and Ikes to the fact that you “can’t live without your eye mask” (I feel that!), you brought so much personality to every frame.

It was an absolute joy to capture your creative spirit and that spunky energy. I’m so excited to see where your mission work takes you and all the lives you’ll touch with that “always there for everyone” heart of yours!
