Alright, grab your favorite cozy drink, because I’ve got a story to tell about Kadence’s senior photos! 💖 From the moment we first chatted way back in October, I knew her senior portraits were going to be truly special. Her dream? A senior session immersed in nature, surrounded by beautiful wildflowers, and yep – even some amazing lake senior photos! How cool is that?! I was absolutely buzzing to make her vision come to life.

Let’s talk about our stunning Kadence, a bright spirit from Sterling Classical School just outside of Austin, Texas. She’s got a super tight group of ride-or-die friends, nurtures her incredible creative passions (seriously, you have to see her hand-painted grad cap!), and has big dreams to work in child development. Tarleton is going to be incredibly lucky to have her!

For our adventure, we found a truly magical spot at Georgetown Lake – exactly what she envisioned with those gorgeous wildflowers. The whole vibe was so peaceful and pretty, creating the perfect backdrop for her outdoor senior portraits. And for her second look? Kadence transformed into a literal fairy tale princess in her gorgeous pink prom dress! Amidst the field flowers and drenched in that golden hour sunshine, these prom dress senior photos absolutely soared to the next level.

Her prom dress wasn’t the only special touch she brought to truly tell her senior year story. We already mentioned that incredible hand-painted grad cap (a sweet nod to “Little Women”!), complete with all her special awards and cords. She also rocked her Tarleton gear, showcasing her exciting future plans – love seeing those dreams come to life!

Then, for those truly epic, unique senior photos, Kadence was a total champ. She actually went into the lake in her dress – talk about dedication! We captured some absolutely glorious, artistic shots by the water, making it a truly magical evening. It perfectly matched her vision and radiating personality.

When I chatted with Kadence’s sweet mom, Kimberley, it was clear they share such a special bond. From coffee shop trips to spa days and even a mother-daughter adventure to London, they’re always creating memories! Kimberley’s advice for Kadence as she embarks on her big future resonated so much: “Always listen or seek advice from God, your mom, and your gut.” I think that’s golden advice for all of us, no matter where we’re headed!

And let me tell you, the magic didn’t stop with the photos! Kadence’s collection included some seriously gorgeous pieces she’ll cherish. First up, two stunning wal art pieces! One is a statement piece of Kadence’s (and mine!) favorite water photo – a total showstopper that I wouldn’t be surprised if she takes it straight to college with her! Kimberley chose, a beautiful storyboard of her 3 favorite images to hang at home, showcasing a trio of precious moments. The ultimate statement, of course, is her fusion cover fine art photo album, wrapped in a dreamy dusty blue leatherette fabric. I’m convinced dusty blue is Kadence’s signature color, what do you think? It’s truly a keepsake that embodies her entire senior story that they are going to cherish forever.

Taking Kadence’s senior pictures near Austin was so memorable. We laughed, we explored, and we captured so many moments that show just how wonderful she is. It was such a joy to see her personality shine through every picture, especially with that gorgeous pink dress in the field and those dreamy lake shots.
