Buckle in for a story folks. But first, summertime in the Utah mountains is WHERE.IT’S.AT! Sophia and I were in for an adventure during her stunning portrait session in the breathtaking beauty of Brighton Ski Resort.

From the mountaintop to the tranquil lake, we ventured through this natural wonderland, capturing moments of pure joy and youthful exuberance. Sophia effortlessly blended the serenity of the lake with the thrill of adventure, creating a visual story that spoke of the freedom and promise of their upcoming journey.

Then while we were enjoying the beauty and the lake, we heard a rustling sound nearby. As we looked there was nothing but the sight of tall grass falling and moving, and it was coming towards us. Sophia, who was now in the lake was stuck. I was stuck on shore in absolute fear trying not to abandon Sophia. We saw big eyes as it shifted towards the water quickly, and we panicked. That was until we realized it was a beaver (which are huge by the way!) just finding a spot to cruise in the water. We laughed so hard we all cried.

Always an adventure this photo session was unforgettable both by beauty and wildlife encounters. Thank you Sophia for trusting in me to take tell your senior year story.
